I’m beatable – Serena.

World number 1 Serena Williams has denied that there is a colossal discrepancy between her and other WTA players competing on the tour, and that she is not peerless.

The 32-year-old American, who on Sunday won her 10th  title of the season, holds a first-rate win-loss record of 74-5 this year.

“Everyone was beatable at some point and I know that everyone is a threat,” Serena said.

“I do not feel I’m above anyone but it is just that I’m playing and doing the best I can.”

“I’m happy (that) I’m working hard to be the best right now but soon it will be someone else.”

On her arrival in Beijing, Williams said that she was not the greatest ever women’s player, but that she was among the top 5.

Serena is reigning atop rankings with a gigantic difference of 4775 points among her and 2nd-ranked Victoria Azarenka. This is adequate to be evidence for her supremacy on the women’s circuit.
