The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face South Africa in their opening game of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Ahead of the game, Rohr has confirmed that his team will be camping in France which is close to his Europe base players.

Rohr has revealed that he does not want his players to go off on holidays after the regular season with their respective clubs.

“France is in Europe and close to these players, I want them to get there as soon as possible,” Rohr told Pulse at the Agege Stadium on Sunday, April 9.

Nigeria and South Africa played in the same group for the qualifiers for AFCON 2015 and both also failed to qualify.

Both countries have also missed the last two AFCONS and have placed in Group E along with Libya and Seychelles for the qualifiers.
