Enugu Rangers: NPFL champions elect set for N40m for title win.

The N40m is from a total of N200M for the 19 clubs in the NPFL aside Giwa FC that were expelled during the season.

Enugu Rangers who are the champions elect of the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season are set for N40m prize win.

Rangers are just a point away from winning their first  NPFL title in 32 years after a 2-1 win away at relegated Ikorodu United at the MKO Abiola Stadium.

Their closest challenger Rivers United FC were held to a goalless draw at home to Abia Warriors.

Organisers of the NPFL, League Management Company (LMC) have now announced that Enugu Rangers will get N40m if they win the title.

El Kanemi Warriors will also get the prize money if they win the title at the expense of leaders, Rangers and Rivers United.

The N40m is from a total of N200M for the 19 clubs in the NPFL aside Giwa FC that were expelled during the season for not complying with LMC regulations.
