Super Eagles: NFF deny reports they can’t sponsor World Cup qualifier.

According to several reports which included one from CNN, the NFF will not be able to sponsor the Super Eagles to Zambia for the game.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have denied reports that they can’t sponsor the Super Eagles 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

The Super Eagles will on Sunday, October 9 face the Chipolopolo in the first match-day of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

According to several reports which included one from CNN, the NFF will not be able to sponsor the Super Eagles to Zambia for the game.

The reports state that the crippled Nigerian economy has made it difficult for the NFF to raise money for the game.

The NFF have, however, released a statement denying the reports.

According to the president of the federation, Amaju Pinnick, plans have already been put in place for the execution of the game.

"We have concluded arrangements on movement to and from Zambia. Any talk of being unable to go is a big lie,” Pinnick is quoted to say by the official Twitter handle of the NFF.

"Some persons have perfected the art of concocting stories they feel people want to read about NFF and passing it off as authentic stories."
